Batches are grouped by grading company and service level — PSA, CGC, BGS, TAG, HGA. One batch ships together; every card inside it moves on its own.

In the mail. The batch left the shop — tracking noted on the record.
3. AT GRADER
Sitting in the grading queue. The longest wait, and the one customers ask about.

Back in the shop. Grade and cert number get typed into the row above.
Statuses are updated by your team as things move — no grader API hookups, no magic. Just the one record that never gets lost in a spreadsheet tab.
Grading fee per card is tracked from intake, so when a slab comes back you can put the fee next to the value and know whether the submission was worth sending.
